ABOUT ME
It was only two years ago when I got my camera. At first it was supposed to be a way for me to film higher quality videos for covers since I had been singing competitively, at that time. I thought, "Wow this is finally going to be a great opportunity to start a Youtube channel where I could film, not only covers, but also become some sort of Youtube vlogger". At least, that's how I first thought it would go.
A few months later, I met someone through social media and mutual friends who I know today as a good friend of mine, Sam Francis. We started talking and planning on meeting up that same day to start taking photos. It was the last week of summer 2016 and we must have walked a few kilometers out of London, the city we both live in, where we shot in the country around, what he first introduced to me, as golden hour in the evening. “Golden hour” was my first photography term which meant the first or last hour of sun of the day. We found ourselves at a massive red barn just across from a corn field. As the sun set, Sam taught me about aperture and the general concepts in which I should focus on when taking photos. That was my first time being behind the camera and I instantly fell in love with photography. Ever since then I have grown a strong passion for creating content behind and in front of the camera with photography and cinematography. Since that day, I knew singing was not essentially what I wanted to do, but photography was.
I soon found myself constantly having my camera on me and taking any chance I could to go out and shoot with other photographer friends who all shared the same love with me. Most photographers enjoyed to only behind the camera whereas I loved coming up with photo ideas, creating set design, and being a part of the shot behind and in front of the camera. Here I thought, what does that make me if I love being in front of the camera, am I still a photographer?
This question later followed me when I started taking my writing more seriously. Being a singer I would always write songs of my own, although I did not essentially play any instruments. This being said, I really loved writing, not only songs, but journal entries, short stories, poems, reviews even, and once I took writing more seriously, blog posts. At this point I started my own blog where I shared personal experiences and advice given based on what I learned from different life experiences I was lucky enough to write about. Here the question I used to constantly ask myself once again became relevant. “Am I still a photographer? Or writer?”. Well I was later able to continue what I loved to do when I combined all my work which included my Youtube videos, blog posts, and photography onto my own personal website. In terms of what I do, I would consider myself a content producer. Not only in photography, but in video creating, set design, editing, and writing. I have never been so passionate to do anything but create content. All these aspects are a part of what I love to do, so here they are. I hope you enjoy, and maybe learn from what I was able to realize.

Recognize you don't have to be passionate about only one thing. But when you figure out the things or thing you love, focus on constantly practicing them and never be ashamed to share your work.
