Life is so hard. Getting out of bed at 6am almost every day is hard. Not /react-text skipping react-text: 852 and being at school for every class every day of the week is hard. Work is long. Recently I’ve been watching myself fall into bad habits with the fact that I don’t know how to manage my time as efficiently as I hope I could. Honestly if you’re a grade 12 student or know what it’s like to be one, you might be able to get where I’m coming from. Okay hear me out. Grade 11 is over. Grades count more than any other year. You have to start thinking of University; where you're going, how far, what average you must maintain, just stress piled upon stress. The second you fall behind or let these walls block you from your goals, you're stuck in that mentality. Getting out of the mentality is the hardest part. I wanted to make this post a /react-text PSA on how to motivate yourself to look at these walls differently. From the intro you’d assume the worst out of school, being there, and applying for it soon. Maybe start thinking of these walls as things to look forward to. If you can't picture a bright future, then how will you create one for yourself. Motivate yourself to strive to work and grind as hard as you possibly can to get into that program you want, or work the absolute hell out of yourself to ace that test that will make your average in the most important class you have this semester. Whether you're thinking in a high school or even University mentality, yes things may get harder than you expected, but hard work pays off and managing your time by prioritizing what's most important to you is the key. So get out of bed to that morning coffee, start showing up, and grind out the hours to make that shhhmoney. Make life easy for yourself and think positively.
